Chat lines are great places to find long-lasting connections that can flourish into full-blown romantic relationships. There is no shortage of men or women that are dialed into chat lines 24/7 365. This allows for a higher chance of you finding “the one”…..on the other hand, it leaves a lot of room for error.
Sure, dating via chat line can be great, and will definitely save you tons of time and heartbreak, but that doesn’t mean that dating is suddenly going to be a walk in the park. However, a chat line CAN make dating a walk in the forest with twigs beneath your feet, instead of a walk through the desert with no water or structures or beings or…hope in sight. You will have so many different greetings to shuffle through and you will never have to talk to anybody who doesn’t pique your interest. So what exactly should you be looking for out of a greeting, and, in turn, what should you be putting in your greeting? There are a couple of things we find imperative to have in your greeting, so lookout for a greeting to capture your attention and draw you in, making the need for you to connect with this man/woman much too strong to fight. This is what you should be looking for in a chat line greeting.
Uniqueness
You don’t want someone who is trying to blend into the crowd, you want someone who is not afraid to stand out! After all, if you’re not putting your best foot forward in your greeting, do you really, truly want to meet your soulmate? Look out for someone who can’t help but put their own flare on the redundant prompt that seems to be passed around for dating bios and chat line greetings. If they allow their personality to come through in their greeting, they may just be a very special someone.
Planned or Organic?
Is the guy/gal on the other end of the line reading from a script? Do they sound overly planned? Do they sound organic and trustworthy? Does this sound like someone you want to put your time and energy into getting to know? Don’t waste your time on someone who is way too polished or someone who seems like they might be inauthentic/trying to put on a front to get what they want out of you.
The Devil Is In The Details
Does the person on the other end of the chat line greeting queue you into who they are? Do they give you details about their personality, likes and dislikes, or anything that will allow you to know whether or not your vibes might align? As they say, the devil is in the details, and if they aren’t serving up anything but a plate of bland mashed potatoes, it’s time to move onto someone who is open enough to be able to form a relationship with via chat line. And that’s on period.
Remember to follow your gut, as it will rarely steer you wrong. If something feels off, move on. There are plenty of fish in the sea.
